What happens after I get in touch?
I'm looking forward to getting in touch with you within the next day, and quite possibly even sooner! We'll chat about the tasks you'd like to delegate. After we're on the same page, let's set up a Zoom call, on the house, to run through the work we've agreed upon. This way, we can make sure we're a great fit for each other! You will experience customised, budget-friendly support.
Your Free 30-Minute Consultation
We'll start with an email discussion about your business requirements and how I can support you. As a new client, you're eligible for a free 30-minute consultation over Zoom or by phone. This initial call sets the foundation for our partnership, enabling me to create a tailored plan just for you. It's also an opportunity for us to get to know each other and establish a strong working relationship.
How we will communicate during assignments?
Any communication regarding work tasks and instructions must be only via email to ensure proper documentation and accountability, and to help eliminate miscommunication and confusion. In cases where a phone call is necessary, it must be scheduled in advance and will be billed at my hourly rate.
What do I do if something doesn’t go as planned?
If something doesn't go as planned, don't worry. As your VA, I'm here to help you. Just email me at hello@vadestiny.com as soon as possible, and I'll look into it right away. Do you do face-to-face meetings?
To optimise time efficiency, I exclusively communicate with clients through electronic means. Any travel time required will be subject to an additional charge based on my hourly rate.
Service Options and Pricing
How can I hire you for a one-time task or ongoing assistance?
There are two ways to work with me. You can hire me for one-time tasks or projects, which is great for clients who need occasional virtual assistance or have a specific project in mind. This option offers ad-hoc support or a 'pay-as-you-go' approach. Alternatively, you can choose from my monthly packages, ranging from 1 to 30 hours per month (equivalent to about 7.5 hours per week). This option provides consistent support while allowing for easy budgeting.
What does it mean to work with you on retainer?
A retainer is a pre-booked arrangement to ensure my availability and services for a set period, usually on a monthly basis. This means you have the confidence that I, as your virtual assistant, will be on hand to handle your tasks promptly within a 24-hour turnaround time. Please remember that any unused retainer hours cannot be carried over to the next month, unless we've made a prior agreement. How is your time billed?
I structure my pricing primarily around time. At a rate of £35 per hour, you're billed only for the time you utilise. This transparency ensures no unexpected costs. You have the flexibility to engage my services on an as-needed basis or opt for a retainer agreement, providing you with a set number of guaranteed hours each month, offering stability for your business operations.
Do you offer discounts?
I believe in providing every client with the same exceptional level of service, ensuring consistent quality and attention for everyone. When you work with me, you're not just getting a service; you're benefiting from my expertise and comprehensive business support, including licenses, software, insurance, and regulatory compliance. These factors are considered in the pricing, which is why I don't offer discounts. Rest assured, there are no hidden fees or extra charges, unless we have previously discussed and agreed upon them, ensuring complete transparency in our working relationship.
Can I choose specific services from the packages?
Absolutely! Pick any service you need and collaborate with me on an ad-hoc basis (or as-needed) or with a retainer. This adapts to the support you require—be it a few hours or ongoing. A retainer secures my dedicated time for consistent assistance.
What is the typical turnaround time for tasks?
For ad hoc tasks, you can expect a turnaround time of 48 to 72 hours. However, if you choose to secure my time in advance through a retainer package, you can rely on consistent, regular support to keep your business running smoothly. To maximise efficiency for you, the turnaround time is 24 hours.
Business Terms and Procedures
Are contracts and insurance included in your services?
Following our initial call, if you choose to proceed with VA Destiny, you will receive contracts, including a data privacy policy. I am ICO registered and hold professional indemnity insurance. Feel free to request my certificate at any time.
What is the minimum contract term?
The minimum contract is 1 hour per month.
What is Terms of Service?
I have established a set of policies and guidelines that govern my working relationship with clients. These policies, including confidentiality, billing, turnaround times, communication and other important factors, are outlined in my Client Agreement (or Terms of Service). Specific terms and plans will be detailed in a booking form, which is contractually binding.

What are the payment terms?
New clients will be invoiced in advance before work begins. Payment for the invoice for returning clients is due within 7 days of receipt. Failure to pay within this period will result in the invoice being considered overdue. The work will begin as planned and will continue within 7 days unless the invoice becomes overdue. When does the work start?
For new clients, work starts once full payment is received. Returning clients are asked to pay their invoices within 7 days. The project begins as planned and moves forward within this 7-day window, provided the invoice is paid on time. How will I give you access to my systems?
You can grant me access to your software by setting up a user account with the necessary permissions. Additionally, we can create a shared folder for software-related documents. To ensure security, we'll use password-sharing tools like 1teme.com, 1ty.me, or LastPass. Please share clear instructions on accessing the software and its documents to facilitate a smooth process. Effective communication and documentation will help me provide efficient service.
Will I be responsible for bureaucratic hassle of employees or paying taxes while working with you?
No, you don't have to worry about that. As a self-employed business owner, I take care of these matters myself. You'll only be paying for the services I render to you.
What is a Booking Form?
A booking form is a simple and convenient tool that gathers all the necessary information from you, such as your name, email address, phone number, and desired service, to ensure that I can provide you with the best possible experience. By filling out the form, you can easily request a service or appointment, and I can quickly confirm your booking and make any necessary preparations. The form can be conveniently completed online and may require a deposit or payment in advance to secure your appointment. It also outlines the specific work to be done during your appointment, ensuring that we are on the same page about your expectations and that I can tailor my services to your specific needs.

Is your website accessible from all devices?
Yes, you can access my website on any device with internet connectivity, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. My website is designed to be responsive and compatible with a wide range of devices, allowing you to access your account, as well as its content and services, from wherever you are.
Website doesn't performance as should?
If the website or its features aren't working properly, clear your browser's cache and cookies, and refresh the page. If that doesn't work, try using a different browser or device.
